Questions about the Map Shop
How long until I receive my order?
You can expect you order within 3-9 business days. Although, once it is in transit, like you, it's out of my control.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, I only ship to Canada and the US. But I'm working on global shipping, it just takes a while to learn how to do it.
What shipping service do you use?
In Canada orders are delivered with Canada post. In case of Canada Post strikes, alternatives are used. In the US orders are delivered with USPS. See my shipping page for more information.
What is your return policy?
Each map is made to order so there are no "it turns out I don't want it" returns. I will do re-prints for anything that arrives damaged. See my return policy page for more information.

Do you offer a warranty for products missing or damaged in transit?
If your package gets damaged in transit then send me an email through my contact page as soon as possible. I'll get back to you and probably need a photo of the damage. If you qualify, I'll send you a re-print.
Do you work with wholesale partners?
Yes! Send an inquiry through my contact page with a short description of your shop and approximate purchase quantity. Note: I don't do online-only retail partners.
Can I get a custom map?
I do not do customizations for the maps in my store.
I do commissions and custom projects, but through separate contracts. Reach out through the contact page if you want to commission something.
Questions about the maps
Where are you based?
I live in British Columbia, Canada. My home is a sailboat so I could be anywhere on the BC coast. Check out my Instagram to maybe figure out where I might be.
...but wait, if you live on a sailboat how does your store work?
Good question! I do not have boxes of maps on my sailboat. Instead, I have print partners who print and ship your order for me. If you order in Canada, it is printed in Canada. If you order from the US it is printed in the US. Which is great because I don't have to keep piles of maps on a boat and you don't have any shenanigans with customs and duty.
Why are there no roads on these maps?
I originally envisioned these maps as being solely from a marine perspective, but since so many people are asking for it, when I update the maps next year I'll add in a roads layer.
What are the tiny circles and squares on the maps?
The tiny squares are towns that are a good stop for provisions. That means that they have a grocery story that is easy to get to from a marina, and also probably a boat launch, likely a ferry terminal, some kind of public transportation, and other basic waterperson amenities.
The tiny circles are for lighthouses. Not all of them, just the ones that are the most significant for navigation when you're on the water.
